On 21 August 2014, Nicholas Cooper (22) was recalled to prison. Also, he was charged with a burglary that occurred 19 June 2014, Maud St, Rochdale and charged with an additional offence of theft.

Michael Byrnes, (25) of Clara St, Rochdale was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates on 21 August and received a one year custodial sentence. He was sentenced for theft/shoplifting, theft of pedal cycles, assault and possessing class A drugs

Jessica Walker (20), from Rochdale, has been charged with an assault, criminal Damage and police assault and is bailed (with conditions) to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court 3 September 2014

Aasim Shaukat (19) from Rochdale has been charged with driving without due care and attention, no driving licence and no insurance and bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court 3 September 2014

Scot Warburton (31) from Rochdale, has been charged with disqualified driving, no driving licence and no insurance. He is bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court 3 September 2014

Burglary- Brimrod Lane, Marland, Rochdale at 1:50am on 17 August 2014.
Unknown offender has approached rear of premises using implement to smash ground floor rear window. No entry has been gained. Offender has made off in unknown direction having been disturbed by occupier.

Burglary- Holborn Street, Marland, Rochdale on 18 August between 8pm and 9:45pm.
Unknown offenders approach rear of property and use unknown implement to take off wooden board from rear kitchen window. Offenders gain entry through window and enter property; make untidy search and steal two televisions and the exit as entry.

Bittern Close, Bamford, on 21 August between 2:20pm and 2:50pm. Three offenders approach rear of property, one offender smashes UPVC glass door, through which all three offenders gain entry to the premises. Offenders begin to search property before disturbing resident and realising property is occupied. Offenders then make off exiting the property and leaving in an unknown direction.

Robbery (Business) – 14:55 19/08/14, Mellor St, Rochdale.
Male offender enters store, waits until customer exits then takes assistant to the till and asks for money from till then takes money. Forces assistant to back room makes her give from money from handbag, takes same then exits store.

Unknown Male description:
One white male, stocky build, 5’9, round face, shaven head, wearing grey marl zip up hoody, dark grey tracksuit bottoms, patent leather black trainers, blue lens silver rimmed aviator sunglasses, deep gruff voice, suspected of robbery

Burglary Dwelling, 04:4015/08/14, Falinge Rochdale

Two unknown offenders approach living room at front of address; offenders attempt to gain access via open insecure window however are disturbed by neighbour who shouts at them. No entry gained. Offenders make off towards College Bank Way, Rochdale

Unknown Male Offender Descriptions:
Two males, one wearing white shirt, grey pants, the other wearing all in black, suspected of attempt burglary dwelling.

Burglary Dwelling (attempt) between 08/08/12 17:30 and 17/08/14 14:30, The Windrush, Rochdale. 

Unknown person(s) use unknown implement to prise open beading on side window and rear kitchen window causing damage, entry was not gained and offenders make off. Damage to both windows.

Taken From Motor Vehicles - two, Shawclough, Healey, between 19/08/14 20:00 and 19/08/14 09:30

1. 125163f14 - offender/s unknown approach secure and unattended motor vehicle force front offside door lock by means unknown enter steal property exit make off no one seen no cctv – mobile phone taken and sat nav.

2. 125858s/14 - between times stated victim's vehicle is parked on driveway unattended but secure. Offender has approached the vehicle and through unknown means gained access to vehicle and stolen removed items from within. Offender has made off in unknown direction with items. Bag, prescribed drugs, sat nav taken.

Robbery Personal – 20:55 – 21:05, 18/08/14, Freehold, Rochdale

Two unknown offender/s approach the victim from the front one in possession of hammer. They have stopped next to the victim and taken a phone from the victim's hand which he is using and then begin to empty victim's pockets taking further items. The victim does not prevent this for fear of violence. Offender/s then make off down a dirt track leading off Boundary Street.

Two male offenders:
1. White, wearing dark clothing. 
2. Gender unknown, wearing all dark clothing face covered. 

Stolen: Two mobile phones (Nokia & Samsung), keys and cash (£2)

Burglary Dwelling, Between 18/08/14 11:00 – 21/08/14 12:45, Freehold, Rochdale

Unknown offender/s approach unoccupied, unattended address and via unknown means force entry via secure front door and conduct untidy search of premises stealing items. Offender/s then exit via entry point unseen in unknown direction.

Unknown offender entered the victim's unlocked room within a hostel, searched bedside cabinet, removed property, exit as entered in unknown direction.

Criminal Damage, Between 19/08/14 15:00 – 20/08/14 16:30, Hill St, Rochdale

Unknown offender(s) have approached business premises whilst closed. Using unknown implement off(s) have prised a metal cage which surrounded the fan to the shop. Offender(s) then remove the fan and then made off with the small metal cage unseen.

Criminal Damage 

Unknown offender (regular customer of taxi firm) is given a free taxi ride earlier in the day. Offender telephones the taxi rank from 11 Willows Lane in Rochdale requesting to be taken to Bury Police Station. The offender is picked up by a driver and during the journey states that he has no money for the fare. The driver takes the offender to the taxi rank in Rochdale centre. The offender becomes aggressive and punches a window in the rank causing it to smash. The offender also pulls down a cctv camera before making off from the scene in the direction of Rochdale town centre. 

Offender – White male, slim build, 20-30yrs, short brown hair wearing a blue tracksuit with a hood.

Damage worth approx. £70
