The Friends of Springfield Park want to use Mereside house as a café. A decision is made to give the building to the group on a 30-year peppercorn lease providing that a fully funded business case is given to the council within the next two years.

A review of polling stations is next.

This is a statutory review of polling stations across the borough. Officers have received five requests to look at polling stations. Offices are looking at pubs, churches and bowling clubs as possible locations.

This is a report for councillors to note, which contains a number of changes by the cabinet that are currently being consulted on.

The Heywood and Castleton master plan is next.

This is an update for councillors regarding the progress of the master plan for Heywood and Castleton station, including the extension of the railway and developments at Heywood.

The Capital Programme is next.

The report consults councillors on the capital budget setting process for the upcoming years.

The Savings Programme for 2015/216 and 2016/2107 is next. This updates councillors regarding savings set out by councillors for the upcoming years.

Changes to process for LA (local authority) governor appointments is next.

This informs councillors of changes set out regarding the appointment of governors to local schools.
