Christmas craft market raises money for Leonard Cheshire Disability

Date published: 01 November 2014

Littleborough Finest Crafts held a craft fair today (Saturday 1 November) to raise money for Leonard Cheshire Disability.

The fair, which included stalls such as candles, scarves, jewellery and cards, was held at The Wheatsheaf in Littleborough.

Organiser Pam Boyle said: “Leonard Cheshire is a charity based organisation so they rely on money raised by people. They are local as well so we thought they would be a good organisation to raise money for.”

It is hoped that the event has raised close to £200 for the charity.

“It has been a good day. We have had a steady flow of people all day so it has been a good event,” added Pam.

The group are planning to hold a family fun day in December to raise further funds for the charity.
