Can you help identify what is going on in this picture?

The Wardle and Smallbridge History Group (WASHG) is trying to identify what is going on in the picture above.

The group received the picture last week when a gentleman from Wardle took five pictures to the group and this one in particular sparked an interest.

Mike Russell, from WASHG, said: “We had a look at the pictures and this one in particular was interesting to everyone. We are not too sure what is going on but it looks like something interesting.”

The group is now asking that if anyone does know what is going on in the picture, to get in touch with them.

Mike added: “It has been on our website for a while and gained a number of comments but we actually don’t know much about the picture so it would be nice if we could find out more.”
