Hundreds of people congregated in Littleborough Square to remember the men and women who have given their lives to protect our country.
The procession, led by Littleborough Public Brass Band, made its way down Hare Hill Road into the Square and included veterans, councillors, fire fighters, police, brownies, rainbows, cubs and Littleborough Rugby Club.
The Service was conducted by Reverend Ian Bullock.
After the main service, Pennine councillors Aftab Hussain, Amna Mir, John Hartley, Ann Stott, Robert Clegg, Rina Paolucci and Janet Emsley visited the Shore Mills Memorial off Shore Road to lay a poppy wreath.
