Football for a fiver!

Date published: 01 July 2014

Rochdale AFC, Bury FC and Oldham Athletic have again joined forces to offer their season ticket holders an exclusive opportunity to watch up to five extra games during the 2014/15 season for just £5 per match.

The "Greater Manchester Football" initiative involves offering Season Ticket holders of all three clubs the chance to attend matches at *Spotland, The JD Stadium and Boundary Park for just £5 (on selected dates) when their own team is playing away from home.

Dale’s Corporate Sales and Sponsorship Manager, Iain Johnstone, is delighted to see the initiative return for another season: "We are always looking at ways that we can add more value for supporters who purchase season tickets. Season ticket holders are the life blood of all football clubs and we recognise and appreciate their loyal support.
“We believe that we already offer our season ticket holders exceptional value on the price of attending matches, but we also try to bring added value and benefits, which we do through our Special Promotional Period, and the various vouchers that we include in the back of our season ticket books.

“Now, by joining up again with our neighbouring clubs at Oldham and Bury we are continuing to bring even more value to our season tickets, and we are delighted to be a part of this regional initiative.”

The games that Dale season ticket holders can watch for just £5 are as follows:

  • Oldham Athletic v Scunthorpe United, September 27 2014: Dale are away at Leyton Orient
  • Oldham Athletic v Coventry City, October 21 2014: Dale are away at Swindon Town
  • Oldham Athletic v Yeovil Town, December 13 2014: Dale are away at Colchester United
  • Oldham Athletic v Colchester United, February 14 2014: Dale are away at Peterborough United
  • Oldham Athletic v Chesterfield, April 18 2014: Dale are away at Gillingham

To take advantage of the offer, show your season ticket book at the Boundary Park ticket office on the day of the selected game and they’ll provide you with a match ticket.

*Due to Bury and Rochdale having home and away matches on the same day as each other throughout the season, the only option available is if a suitable game arises from any postponed/re-arranged fixtures. This will then be made available to supporters.
