Heywood Cricket Club teams for the weekend

Date published: 10 June 2016

Wes Hunt is back on the first team scene on another busy forthcoming weekend for Heywood.

Hunt, who made 75 in the second team’s win at Greenmount last Saturday, is in the senior side for Friday’s third Group game at Thornham (6.15pm) in the Archway T20 Cup.

He also returns for Saturday’s trip to Edgworth (1pm) in a clash of the bottom two sides in the Greater Manchester Premier League.

Also back in the team for the Edgworth game is Liam Mason, with Chris Thomas having decided to leave the club after a short tenure and Simon Dawson unavailable.

The second team will be hoping to build on their first Division Three win of the season at Greenmount when they entertain Egerton on Saturday (1.30pm).

And there is further action at Crimble on Sunday when the 3rd X1 face Edenfield in the Per-Fit Third XI Cup. Note that it is a 1pm start, in common with all Cup games in the Greater Manchester League.
