Underwater Hockey: Zach Tait and Becci Northover at World Age Group Games in Hobart

Rochdale Underwater Hockey Club team members Zach Tait and Becci Northover have been playing as part of the GB under 19s Underwater Hockey teams at the World Age Group Games in Hobart.

The GB Men’s under 19s team, which Zach Tait played on, took silver after being narrowly beaten (3-2) in the final by a French team.

Zach was the first player to score a goal at the tournament.

GB played teams from USA, Canada, South Africa, Colombia, Argentina, New Zealand, Australia and France over nine days.

Rebecca played for the GB Women’s under 19 team against teams from USA, Canada, South Africa, Colombia, New Zealand, Australia and France.

Her team missed out on the medals but she was the only player to successfully defend a penalty.
