Steve Eyre and Frankie Bunn’s contracts terminated
Date published: 19 December 2011
Rochdale AFC has terminated the contracts of Manager Steve Eyre and Assistant Manager Frankie Bunn.
In a statement on the club’s website it said the announcement was made “with regret.”
Rochdale Chairman Chris Dunphy said: "This has been a very difficult decision for my fellow directors and I because Steve and Frankie are really nice people and we have enjoyed working with them.
“Unfortunately we haven't got the results we had all hoped and worked for.
"I genuinely and sincerely want to thank Steve and Frankie for their services to Rochdale Football Club and wish them all the best for the future.”
Eyre took up the role of manager in June, following the departure of Keith Hill to Barnsley.
The club say that Youth Team Manager Chris Beech will take charge of first team affairs until further notice.
