Mayfield Preview

Date published: 04 September 2014

Mayfield play their last home game of the season on Saturday when they entertain Ince Rose Bridge of Wigan.

Ince have narrowly missed out on promotion this season and will be looking to show Mayfield they have what it takes to beat the best.

Mayfield will be looking to round off their home campaign with another win and thus completing a flawless home season winning every game, most of them by a comfortable margin.

There were some great performances last week with relative new boys Niall Bradley and Gareth Ellison being particularly impressive.

This week coaches Calland and Butterworth will have their work cut out selecting the team, with Mark Biggins, Ryan Bradbury and Ben Butterworth back in contention after missing out at Millom.

A club spokesman said: "There are several sponsors at the game and the club would like to offer them their thanks for their support throughout the season.

"In the sponsors box with Ace Electrical are Miss Keely Wilson and friends, while in the Balcony bar there is the Rob Kershaw Appreciation Society and Shelley Wood plus Mustangs parents.

"Last but not least, after a cancelled fixture, Dunc Simson and Anthony Greaves are taking their lads in the back box."
