Middleton Trampolining Club (MTC) had a successful weekend last weekend as they left a trampolining competition, held at St Catherine’s Academy in Bolton, with 21 medals.

Kallum Roberts finished fifth in his category.

Head Coach at Middleton Trampolining Club, Lisa Lee said: “With his additional needs challenges performing against all main stream participants is an amazing feat and reflects on his determination and hard work.”

Francesca Holt was the youngest participant for the club and at six years old, she placed sixth.

Lisa added: “Francesca is definitely one to watch for the future in the world trampolining. She is a natural with raw talent and her trampolining journey is going to be very exciting.

Due to injury, Olivia Lee didn’t have her best performance as she struggled through two complex routines. On the day she finished in ninth place.

Lisa said: “This performance was testament to the hard work and dedication Olivia has to the sport of trampolining and her training with MTC. I believe many people would have backed out on the day but even with the full knowledge of an unpredictable routine she continued and gave it a go anyway. Well done Olivia.”

Lisa added: “I am so proud of all of the kids who performed to their absolute best on the day.”
