Norden reach semi-finals of the Tom Hardman T20

Norden reached the semi-finals of the Tom Hardman T20 on Friday night when they defeated Royton at Stag Park.

Ash Gowers scored 39, Simon North scored 34, and Daniel Salpietro hit 31, but tops with the bat for Norden was Steve Pimm who made it an unbeaten 50 with a single off the final ball of the 20 overs.

Royton replied with 155 for eight, but they were never really in the hunt after collapsing to 97 for seven. Smith and Craig Joy pepped up the total with late runs.
