The Year 9’s football team saw their undefeated run come to an end with a 2-1 loss to Hollingworth Academy. The Year 7’s team also met defeat away, facing a strong St. Cuthberts team.

The Year 7 and Year 8’s Netball terms both met defeat away at Oulder Hill, however both teams played extremely well. They player of the match for the Years 8’s was QueensleyIginla and the Years 7’s was Georgia Barrett. Congratulations girls!

This week saw students in Years 7, 8 and 9 take part in the World Marathon Challenge. They were raising money for Save the Children.

STEM Club takes place every Friday in room U5 from 2.45pm to 3.45pm.

All Year 7 and Year 8 learners will shortly be issued with a username and password for Activelearn. This is an online resource that will allow students to gain access to the student text books used in lessons and extra revision games and activities.

A reminder that all students in Years 7 and 11 were issued with a proof school photograph from the School Photography Company. If you would like to purchase a photograph of your child you can visit www.schoolphotographs.co.uk or call 01295 250812 for further information.
