Adam Tasker and Ben Godsman selected as ball boys for Hornets with Danny Bridge, forward for the Hornets
Wardle Academy pupils Adam Tasker and Ben Godsman have been selected to become ball boys for Rochdale Hornets.
Danny Bridge, who plays second row forward for Hornets, will continue to coach the boys after school every Tuesday with the aim of putting together a Wardle Academy team to compete in the Rugby League.
The Wardle Academy PE department is looking forward to a strong partnership with the Rugby League and Rochdale Hornets and would like to thank Danny Bridge and Andy Harland, the Development Officer for schools for all their time and effort working with the boys.
The rugby club is free and open to all Year 7 boys on Tuesdays after school in the Sports Hall.
The PE department will also be running a competition to come up with a name for the Wardle Academy Rugby League team.
