Robinwood Activity Holiday

This weekend we are taking 55 children from Year 5 and 6 to Robinwood Activity Centre at Todmorden. Please keep your fingers crossed for good weather.

Ramadan

We are aware that Ramadan starts on the 18 June 2015. We do not expect any of our children to fast, however, if as a family you have made that decision a parent will need to come into school to speak with Mrs Mitchell.

Please note the change in date. If you have a problem with one of these dates due to fasting please come and see Mrs Mitchell.

School Meals

The cost of a school meal will be increased by 5 pence to £2.00 per meal with effect from 3 September 2015. The cost per week will be £10.00. This increase is in line with other schools in Rochdale and at the request of the Local Authority.

Smoking

Can we just remind everyone that Shawclough is a no smoking site and smoking is not allowed anywhere on the school grounds. Thank you for your support.

School Office
Could you please help our office staff – if you need to speak to a member of our office staff would you please ring the bell. This is a working office and not purely a reception. Thank you.

Disposal of Unclaimed Items

At the end of each term all children are asked to take home all their belongings. Any unclaimed items will be disposed of appropriately by the Headteacher.
