Garden Club sale

Our Gardening Club will be having a sale of their produce on Monday 29 June at 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Items include: Tomato plants, nasturtiums and runner beans – 50p per plant. Bay leaves, fresh rosemary and fresh mint – 25p a small bag.

Cream Teas

The PTA will be serving Cream Teas during the last week of term so come along and treat yourself. The dates are: Monday 13 July Tuesday 14 July Wednesday 15 July 3.30pm in the school garden. Tickets are £4 each, available from the school office from Monday 29th June.

Lost Property – last chance

Any lost property that is left after tomorrow will be disposed of – please come and have a look if you have lost anything
The Big Games – at Middleton Arena
You might be interested in this event, which is free, for all ages which promises ‘Adventure and Fun for Children and Families’ from 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. on Sunday 28 June.

New Classes

New Teachers look out for a letter tomorrow which has details of the new classes and staff for September. There are also details of the events at school in the remaining weeks of the school year.

Be Seen in Green Day

On Friday 3 July children (and staff) are asked to come to school dressed in green clothes and bring a donation for the Royal Manchester Childrens’ Hospital. Thank you.

Appointments in school time

Please may we remind parents that if your child is being taken out of school for a medical appointment we need to see evidence of the appointment – Thank you. Please try your best to get an appointment time out of the school day.

Toys in School

Please could we ask that children do not bring toys into school. This is causing problems in the classrooms. Thank you

Attendance Ted was won by 1M who had 100% attendance last week.
On Time Ted was shared by 2C and 5T - who had no children late for school – Well Done.

Tuesday 14 July – Year 6 Leavers’ Event – 6.30pm
Thursday 16 July – Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly – 10.45am Children in Year 6 can go home at 12noon. All other children will finish at 3.15pm.  School closes for the summer holiday at 3.15pm.
