Martha Southall outstanding GCSE results

Wardle Academy Head Girl, Martha Southall received a particularly outstanding set of GCSE results.
With an exceptional 8A*s and 3As Martha is now looking forward to starting at Rochdale Sixth Form College in September where she will study English Literature, Maths, Economics and Geography.
Martha said: "I’m extremely pleased with my results, thank you to the staff at Wardle Academy for all their support and congratulations to the rest of my year group on their results!”
Other successful students include Kyle Rothwell who achieved the best individual results Wardle Academy has seen this year with 7A*s, 4As and 1B. Kyle will also be continuing his studies at Rochdale Sixth Form College in September.
Joe Whatmough’s hard work paid off with an outstanding 6A*s and 6As, Luke Taylor achieved 4A*s, 7As and 1B and Eleanor Murphy gained 4A*s, 4As and 3Bs.
Overall Wardle Academy saw an increase in the number of students achieving the highest academic standards with A* grades.
