Search is on for the next Shoe Designer

Wynsors World of Shoes is running a creative competition giving school pupils across the UK the chance to design their very own pair of trainers.

The company wants to encourage the next generation of creatives and help to fuel the imaginations of school’s across the UK.

Schools are invited to join in and help showcase pupil’s creative skills and the chance to win prizes for the school and pupils.

To take part, students simply have to design their ideal Hi-Tec Silver Shadow trainer on a design sheet provided in the information pack, which can be downloaded below.

Prizes 

First prize 

  • The winner’s design will be turned into a finished product to wear
  • The winner will also receive. a laptop, Hi-Tec goodie bag and £350 cash for their school

Second and third prize designs will each will 

  • £50 cash
  • £50 Wynsors vouchers
  • Hi-Tec goodies
  • £50 cash for their school

Key Dates 

  • Last submission date: Thursday 24 March 2016
  • Shortlisting and online voting begins: Monday 11 April 2016
  • Online voting ends: Thursday 5 May 2016
  • Winner’s announcement: Friday 6 May 2016

How To Enter 

To be accepted all entries must appear in colour and can use any medium (pencils, felt tips, paint, pastels, collage, etc.)

Simply take them to your local Wynsors store on Yorkshire Street, or post them to: Hi-Tec Competition, Wynsors World of Shoes, PO Box 2, Bacup, OL13 0DT.

Alternatively if you are not running this as a school project, pupils can individually enter by sending their designs to the above method or email them to:

designcompetition@wynsors.com

Voting

Wynsors and Hi-Tec will go through all valid entries and whittle them down to the best six. These designs will be placed on the Wynsors blog and a public voting contest will decide the winner.
