Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 27 November 2015

Recently our talented young people from the Community Cohesion British Values Group spent the day at Rochdale Sixth Form College with Miss Mullane and their learning colleagues from the college and Marland Hill school. The group worked alongside each other with representatives from the town planning department, the police and youth services. Hamer school is at the heart of local community cohesion.

We are looking forward to welcoming the many parents who have signed to say that they intend to come along to the Maths curriculum afternoon on Tuesday 1 December at 2.30pm.

Our talented and enthusiastic Year 6 mathematicians are out again at Marland Hill School to work with other children from across the IPLCN from 1 to 3pm next Friday.

A reminder to the Year 5 parents that, money can be paid weekly to the teacher in class for the Robinwood residential visit. Thank you.

Due to the Christmas Tree being put up in the hall in the festive assembly on Tuesday, there will be no after school football clubs until January.

We are very pleased that £273 was raised from the sale of poppies at Hamer. Thank you again for the generosity of our wonderful community.
