A music concert was held on Saturday (16 May) at St Luke’s Church to show off the musical talent of young children.

The concert, which was held by the New Life Christian Fellowship, included a number of performances from the Church Sunday School, as well as involvement from groups outside of the church.

Sunday School students from the New Life Church in Salford and Hebron Choir also performed during the concert.

Now an annual event, the event included singing and dancing. The Church hall on Salkeld Street, Deeplish was packed with people celebrating the children’s talents.

The New Life Christian Fellowship began in 2002 and is an independent church, which has many people of African and French, speaking origin. New Life Christian Fellowship is affiliated with Assemblies of God and headed by Rev. Andre Diba Musangu. It is also a registered charity that would like to impact the community, bringing it together through events such as the one held on Saturday.
