I am proud to have been selected to represent East Middleton for the Conservatives at the local elections on 3 May.
Middleton people are rightly proud of their identity and their community spirit and if elected I am committed to working and serving all residents in the ward and speaking up for the area at Council, ensuring the area receives its fair share of investment.
I am in my third year studying Finance and Accounting at Salford University and have lived in the borough with my family all my life. I will work hard and co-operatively with all parties to get real results for Middletonians.
Local elections are naturally focussed on local issues and I will fight for the things you care about:
- a cleaner, greener and safe environment,
- proper surfaced roads and pavements that last, instead of short-term repairs
- stopping over development of our green spaces – greenbelt is sacrosanct and enhances our towns, improving our quality of life and the environment generally. Although I fully support affordable housing, I will be demanding that we develop our brownfield sites first.
- resources for young people
- investment in transport links
After decades of a Labour-run council, it’s surely time for change and I would be proud to serve the ward if you vote Conservative in East Middleton on 3 May.
