John Wilkins is a retired teacher. He grew up and was educated in Middleton and eventually came back to live here 11 years ago.
John is campaigning to get better facilities across Middleton and in particular supports the Lighthouse Project and its campaigns.
He is also keen to promote environment issues and is a member of BetterHealth4Middleton promoting health information and outcomes locally.
John is the Secretary of BOLD (Building Our Local Democracy), a non-politically aligned campaigning group of local people passionate about the public having a greater input into the democratic process.
