Rochdale - General Election 2019

Andy Kelly

Andy Kelly

Liberal Democrat Party
Rochdale Constituency

Andy Kelly is the only candidate standing in Rochdale who can call the constituency home and is Rochdale born and bred.

He believes that his passion and pride in Rochdale will win over thousands of voters, even Brexit supporters. He has a track record as a tireless campaigner for Milnrow & Newhey (where he is a Councillor) and more widely in the Rochdale Borough.

He believes people are craving for an MP who is down to earth, hard-working and utterly committed to restoring pride in Rochdale.

Kelly (50) is a former senior youth worker who now works for the National Lottery Heritage Fund and is well known locally as a quizmaster, theatre producer and bassist in Irish band the Scattering.

He is standing locally on a platform of fighting Labour’s plans to build on the greenbelt, on running a 7 days a week constituency officein the town centre and re-building Rochdale’s reputation following numerous political scandals involving the former Labour MP and the Labour led Council.
