I have represented Healey Ward for the past nine years and I am absolutely delighted to have been reselected to stand again as your Labour Councillor in the local elections on 2nd May 2024. I have met and got to know so many of you over the past few years and I look forward to continuing to represent you as your Councillor along with my local Labour colleagues, Councillor Shaun O’Neill and Councillor Tricia Ayrton.
I have been a resident of Healey Ward for twenty years and I understand the issues and concerns of the people who lives here, and as a family man working in Further Education, I am conscious of the needs and concerns of the families, school children, and young people in the area. I have a proven track record of working in the interests of local people and I held a Councillor Surgery on the first Saturday of every month (in Thrum Hall Church) where you can meet me with no appointment necessary. As Council Cabinet member for Highways, I am always eager to listen to your concerns and support you in whatever way that I can.
