Adam Branton

Conservative Party
Wardle, Shore & West Littleborough Ward

Adam Branton, your local representative for Wardle, Shore, and West Littleborough in May 2024’s local election.

As Rina Paolucci is stepping down, I have put myself forward to stand as her replacement and the new candidate for Wardle, Shore, and West Littleborough. I am the ideal candidate to represent you. My family brought me up in Wardle. I am passionate about the area and understand the issues that affect the community. Regardless of Party Politics, I am standing for everyone, and if elected, will empower and represent everyone in the ward.

As a valued resident, I ask for your support and vote for me so I can join the Conservative Team and continue to work hard for the good of our villages. Conservative Councillors have served the community for many years, campaigning tirelessly to save it from the destruction seen in many other wards which are under Labour control. If elected, I will work with Councillors John Taylor and Ashley Dearnley to get the best for our residents, businesses, and community and ensure Wardle, Shore, and West Littleborough continue to be an outstanding place to live and work and somewhere we are proud of.

Because we live in the Ward, we know what the issues are and what is important to our residents. What is important to you is important to us, and, with your support, we can continue to represent you and challenge decisions and where your money is being spent. Your Ward Councillors are easily contactable if you have a problem. We listen, support, and help wherever and whenever we are needed.

We have and will continue to oppose inappropriate development and object to building on greenbelt. We participate in and support local community groups and encourage you to be our eyes and ears and report issues. We are committed to tackling speeding and dangerous driving and working with the council to find solutions for traffic calming measures. This is a battle we cannot give up on and will keep fighting for.

I drive and walk around the Ward on a weekly basis to check on things that need attention and report them; potholes, littering and fly-tipping, grot spots, dog fouling, broken signage, overgrown shrubs, damaged lighting columns. If elected, I will work with the Conservative Team to do all I can to maintain the standards of our roads and pavements, ensure critical Council services are there for residents who need them, and, of course, campaign for a greater distribution of Police and Council resources to tackle the scourge of crime, public disorder, and anti-social behaviour.

This election is your opportunity to vote for the people who do and will continue to work hard and go the extra mile for you. I would be proud to represent the Ward and promise to follow in the footsteps of your Conservative Councillors, putting you and your priorities first.

Kind regards,

Adam Branton
