The Sun reveals Danczuk facing rape allegation

Date published: 09 May 2017

The Sun has revealed that Simon Danczuk is facing another rape allegation.

The disgraced former Rochdale MP has been accused of carrying out the attack in the Westminster area last May, according to The Sun. The Daily Mirror and the Daily Mail are also reporting the allegations.

Danczuk denies the allegation.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed: “A woman has alleged she was raped.

“Detectives have been notified and will investigate.”

In January 2016 Danczuk was interviewed under caution in connection with a rape allegation dating from 2006.

Dancuzk denied the allegation saying it was "malicious, untrue and upsetting".
