Rochdale Feel Good Festival, Rochdale AFC v Doncaster Rovers, The Growth Project Open Garden, Charity Family Fun Day, Heywood Model Railway Group Open Day, Pop-Up Performance of the Peterloo Massacre, Wedding Open Day, and a Springhill Hospice Quiz & Auction Night - lots to do in and around the borough this weekend.
- Friday 9 August
Rat Pack & Swing Tribute Night – Royal Toby Hotel Rhyddings Suite, 7pm
3 course meal followed by a Rat Pack & Swing tribute act, tickets £25 per person.
Live Music: The Andy Clark Band – The Flying Horse Hotel, live music starts 10pm
Pop, party and funk covers.
Live Music: Alice Cooper Tribute + Ward XVI – Empire Rochdale, 6pm – 4am
Live on stage from 10pm, hosted by Brass Knuckle Riders & MT Heads M.C.C.

- Saturday 10 August
Rochdale Feel Good Festival 2019 – Music, family zone, food and drinks from 11am – 11pm in Rochdale town centre
Heywood Model Railway Group Open Day – Unit 3 Park Works, 10am – 4pm
Accommodating stock in either N, 00, 0 or G gauges.
Pop-Up Performance and Protest – Middleton Arena, performances at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm
Commemorating 200 years since the Peterloo Massacre with historical characters, suitable for ages 5-12 years.
The Growth Project (National Garden Scheme) Open Garden – Kellett St Allotments, 11.30am – 3.30pm
With home made cakes, preserves, fruit and vegetables and gifts for sale.
Special Charity Family Fun Day – Woolworths Club, 2pm – 5pm
All donations will go to REGAIN, a charity devoted to sports people who have spinal injury. Various activities for children on the day.
Rochdale AFC v Doncaster Rovers - Crown Oil Arena, 3pm kick off
The first home game of the new season. Sky Bet League One match.
Charity Quiz and Auction Night – Rochdale Rugby Union Football Club, 7pm
In support of Springhill Hospice.
Party Nights at The Cedar Tree – The Cedar Tree, time given upon booking
With a 10 piece soul band. If you like soul music then this is the night for you.
Live Music at The Flying Horse – first band on 2pm, open till 3am
With over ten bands performing throughout the day, in partnership with Rochdale Feel Good Festival.

Bowlee Car Boot Sale and Collectors Market – Bowlee Community Park, 6am for sellers, 7am for public – 1.30pm
Running on Sunday’s until mid-August.
Wedding Open Day – Mercure Norton Grange Hotel & Spa, 1pm – 4pm
An informal event giving you the opportunity to view the entire hotel as an option for your wedding.
'Peterloo 1819' Commemoration Concert – Woolworths Club, 1pm
With songs and music from Matt Hill, resident songwriter at Manchester People's History Museum.
Rochdale Hornets v Leigh Centurions – Crown Oil Arena, 3pm kick off
Championship round 24.
