Cricket: Norden seeking new professional as Jake Sandham departs

Date published: 09 October 2020

Norden Cricket Club will not be retaining Jake Sandham as the club professional for 2021.

Jake was with Norden in 2018, 2019, and the shortened 2020 season.

In that time he scored more than 1,000 runs and took 101 wickets.

A highlight of his time with Norden came last year when he took three for nine in a blistering spell as Stags defeated Darwen in the Lancashire knockout final.

A club spokesperson said: "The club would like to place on record its gratitude to Jake for his level of performance, effort, and professionalism during his time with Norden.

"We wish him the very best for the future."
