Alvyda commenced employment with the Company in August 2006 as a bakery operative.

She was promoted to Deputy Manager after only two months, covering a number of shops within our portfolio.

She was quickly then promoted to Manager, taking up a full time position in Rochdale on 4th January 2010, a not unheralded but nonetheless meteoric rise to such a position.

Alvyda is a determined young lady who has quickly overcome the language barrier to demonstrate a real flair and passion for selling.

Alvyda prides herself on both her own personal appearance and the appearance of her shop.

She is always smiling and friendly and is attentive to different customers’ needs, from elderly people right down to the very young.

She attempts to build a relationship in all cases – this endears her to customers who regularly compliment the Company about her.

Alvyda displays a maturity beyond her years (she is their youngest manageress within some 60 outlets) and Greenhalgh’s has recognised this from the beginning.

Her presentation, merchandising and organisational skills are vital to the successful running of the Rochdale shop.

Her attention to detail is exemplary and is reflected in our customer satisfaction level.
