Rochdale Town Centre Business Awards 2010/2011 - Employee of the Year

View Nominees

Managers and owners of town centre businesses have been busy nominating their top members of staff for the prestigious Employee of the Year Award, sponsored by The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre.

The nominations are shown below and now readers can now vote for the person that they think deserves to win this year’s award.

Over the next few weeks, the public will have the opportunity to vote in 6 different categories of the Business Awards. Each person that votes will be entered into a prize draw to win £250 to spend in Rochdale town centre.

Martin Ballard, Manager of The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre said “Every town needs to have it’s own Unique Selling Point, otherwise it loses it’s identity; Rochdale has some fantastic assets in buildings such as the Town Hall and some great traders, but most of all it is the quality of it’s people - and that’s what makes me proud to sponsor this award as it highlights those who put in the extra effort, who take their job to the next level and most of all who take ownership of their business, their customers and their town!”

If you would like to vote, simply read the profiles of each nominee and tell us why you think they deserve to win using the form below. It is important that you indicate your reason for voting for that person, as the winners and runners-up will be chosen by judges for the best reasons given. Perhaps you recognise someone who has given you great service in the past in the town centre.

Please be aware that your vote will not be accepted unless a reason is provided.

Note: Voting for this feature ended on 27 April 2011.
