Having lived in Spotland for many years, I am honoured to be seeking election for the area I am proud to live in.
One of the top concerns is the state of our roads and pavements, and I am delighted that my Conservative colleagues have persuaded the Council to spend an extra £1 million improving them.
The other main issue is street cleaning, litter and graffiti.
I support the Conservative policy of an all year round ‘clean and green team’ to make our area one of which we are all proud to live in.
Much has been done to re-generate our town centre with the support of central government and the private sector.
As a Conservative I will do all I can to help create more jobs and opportunities in our town.
If elected I shall work hard to ensure that Rochdale is a vibrant and safe place to live.
