My name is Sajid Mahmood and I am delighted to announce that I am Conservative candidate for Councillor for Healey in the next local election. I am a Chartered Accountant by profession and have worked with various businesses and public sector charities for over 16 years. I live in Healey with my wife and three kids.
My key priorities for our Ward are:
- Working in partnership with the Council and local charities to provide healthy activities and training to our youth to help them unlock their potential.
- Improving traffic conditions around Whitworth Road and roads condition in general.
- Upgrading the public park adjacent to Healey Primary School.
- Working closely with the local schools to help identify opportunities to influence local education, support school leaders and help improve school results.
- Reducing anti-social behaviour and crime
- Ensuring fair Council funding for Healey.
