Like you, I live in Littleborough. I have lived here for over 20 years, I have raised my family and started my business here, I am passionate about Littleborough. I want to ensure we get the best for Littleborough Lakeside residents.
I am keen to put forward a positive vision for Littleborough. I am committed to protecting our green belt and protected spaces and to preventing irresponsible development proposals. I am looking forward to working with fellow councillors and relevant stakeholders to find solutions to the issues that you, as residents, have.
Having been out on the doorstep and having spoken to residents like yourself it is clear that whilst there are so many positives to living in Littleborough there are also problems that need to be addressed, such as parking in the centre of the village, queuing traffic at the major junctions, reckless drivers speeding on our roads, littering and anti-social behaviour. We can only resolve these issues by working together to find the best solutions for Littleborough residents.
Since living here, I have always been actively involved in a range of local community groups, organisations, and charities. During the pandemic I worked alongside other volunteers to provide services for residents, I am an active participant in local groups which contribute to the health and wellbeing of the community. I have always been a great believer in community and the strength of the community we have in Littleborough is what encouraged me to move here when I was looking to move back to the North West and raise my family. I will continue to actively support local community groups to deliver events and activities for local residents.
A vote for me and Labour in Littleborough in the upcoming election is a vote for a local, community minded, hardworking Councillor, who will work tirelessly on behalf of Littleborough residents.
