Hi, I'm Michael Howarth, born, living and working in Rochdale
I would love the NHS to have more funding, I would love the war in Gaza to end and I would love for our energy bills to be cheaper.
Should I be elected I'm sure the people of Rochdale would have me vote in favour of any motions that would achieve this.
I want to concentrate on policies that can realistically and affordably be delivered.
- I would like our businesses to thrive, our empty shops open
- I would like to feel safe in our streets
- I would like to see Milkstone Road included in the proposed area improvements
- I would like to our children attending clubs football, dancing, boxing etc
- I would like to have child friendly areas to practice these activities
These policies are achievable and can be rolled out nationally.
I know the people of Rochdale and have already met some amazing Rochdalians on this journey and I know we can pull together and make Rochdale the place to be.
Win or lose I will continue to try to make our town a better place to be.
