It’s been a real pleasure to meet and talk to many local residents over the last few weeks around Balderstone. Thornham, Queensway and Kirkholt. Many of you have said how sorry you were that I wasn’t re-elected as our towns’ MP.
As many of you will be aware, I am Rochdale born and bred and I live in the ward on Queensway.
We have a very strong team of local Liberal Democrats in our area led by Councillors Dale Mulgrew and Pat Colclough. I know they have made a real difference and if elected I promise to work hard alongside them to deliver even more. We have already achieved much over the last few weeks such as protecting the 431 bus service, working to make sure Kirkholt gets its promised health services and getting speed humps put on Broad Lane.
