I have lived in Middleton all my life and am very interested in its history. Five years ago, I took early retirement, after working nearly 45 years for the Royal Mail. For a few of those years, I worked as a postman at Middleton Post Office, so feel I know the area well. This has led me to having some concerns about the future of the town.
Whilst at Middleton, I met my wife, to whom I have been married for 43 years We have two daughters, both married and living in East Middleton. One has two sons aged 11 and 14 years and the other a son of 8 weeks.
I feel that I have built up a sound knowledge of the area, complete with its problems and if you elect me on 3rd May, I will do my best to work for you.
The issues I would like to engage in, are better, safer and cleaner roads, improved public transport and community facilities for all ages, and a greater police presence to combat anti social behaviour thus helping to make East Ward a better place for all to live.
