Past Cabinet member for Children, Schools and Families and Board member of Rochdale Boroughwide Housing.
Member of Greater Manchester 16-19 Sub Regional Group dealing with careers opportunities for school/college leavers.
Involved from the beginning in decisions concerning financing and rebuilding our schools.
In my 'spare ' time I have led musical activities for choirs and amateur operatics in Middleton. I am interested in all sports especially football, and have had some success in photography.
I am a firm believer in LOCAL GOVERNMENT for LOCAL PEOPLE and work hard to make life a little easier for those in need, regardless of their political affiliations.
