A look back on past Feel Good Festivals

Date published: 22 August 2020

With the absence of Rochdale’s biggest calendar event this weekend (22 August), Rochdale Online takes a look back at some of the defining moments of the Feel Good Festival.

Hosted by local favourite Dave Sweetmore, the festival is organised by Rochdale Borough Council, with sponsorship from local businesses, drawing in thousands of spectators.

Feel Good Festival

Past Feel Good main stage performers include The Coral, Feeder, Razorlight, The Fratellis, Cast, Scouting for Girls, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, The Hoosiers, Toploader, The Feeling, The South, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and The Lightning Seeds. The winners of the annual Battle of the Bands also have a chance to perform on the main stage, with past local winners including Joe Dunne, Between the Vines, and Scuttlers.

With another year to wait until the Feel Good Festival returns, we take a look back at some of our favourite performances.
