Minutes of 93rd meeting on 17 July 2012.
Present: Peter Evans (Chairman), Helen Evans, Barry Horner, John Kershaw, John F Kay, Ken Rosbotham, Cllr Ann Stott, Barbara Tunstall.
Apologies: Roger Davis, Cynthia Davis, Brian Holden.
1. Minutes of last meeting (no. 92) approved with the clarification that Iain Gerard’s remarks were not to indicate that he was in favour of any further development at Durn Littleborough
2. Durn Marina.
2.1 Our expression of interest has been extended to 1st July 2013
2.2 Peter Rowlinson agrees that we should work on “Plan B” for the creation of a Marina
2.3 JFK outlined the discussions he has had so far concerning the sites at both Durn and Ealees
2.4 JK has land adjoining the Akzo Nobel site but access would be a problem
2.5 No progress on Schofield Street.
3. Littleborough Volunteer Lengthsman Scheme.
3.1 JFK still to progress this
4. Akzo Nobel
4.1 No indication from RMBC regarding a date for the promised public meeting.
5. Any other Business.
5.1 Ann Stott has found the Lady Alice
5.2 JFK will pass on the information to Honor Marine.
7. Next meetings: Tuesdays 21 August, 18 September and 16th October 2012 All at 19.30h in United Reformed Church, Victoria Street, Littleborough.
